What is Supervised Visitation Monitoring?
Supervised Visitation allows parents in high conflict or high risk situations access to their children in a safe and supervised environment. The non-custodial parent that has access to the child does so only when supervised by a Professional Supervised Visitation Monitor. Supervised visitation is used to protect children from potentially dangerous situations while allowing parental access and providing support for the child-parent relationship
Client Testimonial
" Jada and Terrie were my visitation and exchange monitors for nearly 2 years. They have been an invaluable help in bringing their stability, knowledge, professionalism and kindness into a high conflict custody situation. They are excellent with children and my child has come to adore them. I would recommend them with high enthusiasm, and will no doubt continue to enlist their services in the years to come ".

What is a Professional Supervised Visitation Monitor?
A trained, neutral third person is paid to supervise the contact between a visiting parent and their child(ren). Visitation Monitors ensure the safety and security of child-parent interactions while documenting what is seen and heard during a visitation. For additional duties, responsibilities, and legal obligations required of visitation monitors refer to 2024 Calif. Rules of Court 5.20 2. (A)-(O).
How Does a Monitored Supervised Visitation Work?
The Courts often order a parent on monitored visitation. There are three types of monitored visitations:
I. Professional
II. Non-professional- usually a family member or friend.
III. Therapeutic
Parents are given the Court Order for visitation. The Judge determines the frequency and duration of the monitored visitation. Each case is unique. Parents come out of court after being given their court order and begin identifying a Visitation Monitor.
Parents contact a monitor and the monitor reviews the parent’s court orders (and restraining orders, if applicable). An Intake interview is scheduled where each parent and monitor will meet to discuss the case in detail, complete the necessary paperwork, and schedule the upcoming visitation schedule for the parents, according to the court order.
Intake interviews are conducted with BOTH parents, separately, and can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
